Refund policy

At Church Grounds, we take care in what we roast and what we ship. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

This policy operates alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

30-Day Returns

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return.

To be eligible, items must be:

  1. Unused and in original condition
  2. In original packaging with all tags and accessories
  3. Accompanied by proof of purchase

Returns must be approved before being sent back. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

To start a return, you can contact us at admin@churchgrounds.org. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Coffee

Coffee is a perishable product and cannot be returned for change of mind, taste preference, or grind selection.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can resolve it promptly.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If an item is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, notify us as soon as possible.

Once confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, store credit, or refund in accordance with applicable law.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

  1. Coffee or other perishable products
  2. Custom or personalised items
  3. Gift cards

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges.

To receive a different item, return the original (once approved) and place a new order.

Shipping & Refunds

Change-of-mind return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

If an item is confirmed faulty or incorrect, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Banks may require additional processing time.
